Erzählkunst e.V. presents:

September 11–13, 2026:
Save the Date:
3rd International Open-Air Summer
Storytelling Festival
A festival against silence and division
at the Kulturinsel in Thälmann Park,
in collaboration with the ‘Theater unterm Dach’
Performances in English and in German
Once again, summer is drawing us outdoors. From 11–13 September, the art of storytelling will be celebrated in Thälmann Park – featuring 15 storytellers from Berlin, England, Norway, Mexico, Iran, Greece and many other places – accompanied by music.
In German and English, free of charge & outdoors (donations welcome), with cool drinks and compelling stories.
The festival sees itself as an artistic response to social polarisation and cultural fragmentation. Through our stories and activities, we create a shared space where artistic imagination and social discourse merge. There will be laughter, dancing, conversation and celebration. STORY OASE 2026 showcases the breadth of contemporary storytelling and strengthens Berlin-Pankow as a hub for international artistic production.
