Ensemble MURAMEER
Das Rostocker Ensemble MURAMEER spielt Irish und Scottish Tunes mit Fiddle, Flute und Tin Whistle. Beim Workshop lernen wir die Grundlagen des Irish-Set-Dancing und einfache historische Gesellschaftstänze im Kreis und in der Gasse aus der barocken Sammlung von John Playford; die Tänze tanzen wir beim anschließenden Céilídh mit dem Publikum.

Ensemble MURAMEER
The Rostock-based ensemble MURAMEER plays Irish and Scottish tunes on the fiddle, flute and tin whistle. During the workshop, we’ll learn the basics of Irish set dancing and simple historical ballroom dances in a circle and in a line from John Playford’s Baroque collection; we’ll then dance these with the audience at the céilídh that follows.
